Benefits of drinking more water



About 60% of the body is made up of water and we can only last a few days without it. Losing just 2% of body weight in fluid can reduce mental and physical performane by up to 25%


Here are a few health benefits you may experience from drinking more water:

Are you drinking enough water?


Tips to hep you incerease your water intake include:

  • Have a couple of glasses in the morning when you wake up

  • If you feel hungry instead of reaching for something to eat, try drinking water instead

  • Drink a glass of water thirty minutes before each meal

  • Set an alarm three times per day to remind you to drink

  • Try adding lemon or orange slices for flavour

  • Buy a 600ml bottle and aim to drink one full bottle by lunchtime and the other by dinnertime
